I'm currently working on a PS3-Wii Media Portal. I've been working on it for about 3 months now for approximately 2-3 hours a day.
At the moment I am integrating a flash MP3 Player for it. I will put it on a Googlecode page and add a download link when the beta comes out.. it will be ready for a beta in about a week if I can continue steady work on it.
The project is from Team PSI and I'm the main Dev working on it.. I used to have a Web site, but I closed it so am sharing the news here.
Hope to have it ready for beta release soon, below are some preview pics!
From a very surprising yet highly reliable source, we’ve got the most likely and realistic Gran Turismo 5 release date!
Sony’s chief executive in southern Europe, James Armstrong, revealed in a statement to Spanish newspaper El Financiero that we can expect the game to arrive (in Europe, at least) Christmas 2009.
Here’s the full translated quote: "For next year, the chief executive of Sony Computer Entertainment for southern Europe said that they are developing a new game thriller, in which the player may be designing their own history, and the new version of Gran Turismo, which will arrive at Christmas."
This would provide for a late summer release in Japan, and late fall/early winter releases in the United States and Europe. From a sales perspective, it would also provide the PlayStation fr... More »
Superman fans can now rejoice, as we received word that the new Superman Doomsday is now available (as of November 25, 2008) on DVD, Special Edition, and Blu-ray Disc.
A synopsis is as follows: The most shocking showdown in Superman history! When Lexcorp accidentally unearths the intergalactic serial killer Doomsday, Superman battles the creature head on in the fight of his life... literally.
The world collectively mourns their fallen hero; humanity realizes it will never feel truly safe again. Superman's enemies rejoice all but Lex Luthor, who grieves the loss in his own demented manner, setting off a c... More »
The guys over at Mgestyk Technologies have been playing and come up with a pretty awesome melding of gaming technology dubbed Mgestyk Fusion, currently available for Windows XP and Windows Vista.
To quote the link above: If you've tried games like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and the recent Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels on the Wii, you may have been disappointed that the in-game lightsaber does not always match how you are holding the wiimote.
Introducing Fusion from Mgestyk Technologies: Fusion is a patent-pending technology which combines Mgestyk's gesture processing with other sensor data such as from Nintendo's wiimote.
It looks pretty cool to me. It's a shame we won't see it on the PS3 until either someone hacks it for homebrew or Sony buys Nintendo. :)
