Well it finally happened, Microsoft's XBox 360 was fit into a PlayStation 3 case.

It's now up for sale on eBay and currently the top bid is US $305.00.

To quote: You are viewing the first ever PS360! Now this is the only PS360 that has been made. I have not seen this any other place but this site, which I made. So therefore, I made the PS360!

It was hard, and I did it right after the Wii64 which is in the Mods Gallery.. and the cool thing is the PS360 is 100% working!

A step by step process for building the PS360 is outlined at the link above for those interested.

Intel and Nvidia are entering into a new, nasty phase of competition. What's at stake? Only the future of the personal computer.

Though the Santa Clara, Calif. neighbors (only a couple of miles from each other) have never really been on speaking terms, the rivalry is intensifying with the emergence of the Netbook- small, lightweight laptops priced below $500.

The competitive backdrop is still the same- Intel's longstanding (and very successful) vision of a CPU-centric universe versus Nvidia's creed that graphics processing matters more and more in a multimedia-intensive world.

The challenge for Nvidia is that as laptops downsize into Netbooks, a graphics vacuum has been created. And Nvidia abhors a graphics vacuum.

Inside almost every Acer, Asus, Hewlett-Packard, and Dell Netbook beats an Intel silicon core. Both CPU and GPU- the latter in the form of the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. (CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. ... More »

Our Xbox 360 sits proudly in the entertainment unit at home in an uneasy trilateral truce between itself, our PS3, and the Wii.

And despite the odd unexplained occurrence – like the time we found the Wii pushed onto the floor with a DS stylus rammed up its rear power port (the 360 and the PlayStation 3 were turned innocently away from the horrific scene) – everybody seems to get along just fine. That said, we’ve got some issues with the 360 – namely, it’s 2009 line-up (or lack thereof).

Credit when credit is due, the 360 had a fantastic 2008 season, especially when you consider that some douchebag analysts predicted this was a ‘Sony year’ that would put the 360 on the back foot (or the non-slip rubber protrusion that passes for the 360’s back foot). Make no mistake, 2008 was good - check out this fancy, delicious looking pie-chart if you don’t believe us.

But this solid performance by Microsoft is somewhat diminished when you l... More »

We love hard drives. When your home console is strapping a big arsed HDD you don't have to leave Alex Kidd on overnight, you don't have to remember sixty-two digit save passwords, and you no longer have to mourn the death of an 8 MB memory card as if it was a family member.

Make no mistake fellow gamers, hard drives rock. Even still, if you had have told us in 2005 that three years later we'd be complaining about 'only having’ 20 gigs of space for our Xbox 360, we would have built a time machine to travel forwards in time to knee ourselves in the groin.

But times they do a-change, especially when you're talking storage. HDD sizes always increase at a frantic rate, and their prices can change just as quick. Just ask one of your PC gaming buddies - you know, the bloke you stay friends with because he has sixteen terabytes of porn - he'll set you straight on the virtues of having HDD space to spare.

Now that the DLC era is fully upon us, it’s be... More »

Having not ever been an owner of a PS3 or PSP, I wasn’t aware of the bias that retailers are showing towards the PlayStation 3 console.

One of the guys that I work with is a huge PlayStation fan. Not a fanboy, mind you, but a normal person who happens to like the PS3 over the 360.

I’ve heard him talk about it before, but I’ve always passed it off as simple bad customer service or people just being overly hyped about a 360 game over the PlayStation ones, but after “Emergence Day 2″, I was shocked and appalled at the level of anti-PS3 sentiment he had to deal with.

It all started with him telling me that every time he went to his local game store, a small “mom and pop” type store where he has shopped for quite a while, they constantly bugged him to show up to the midnight release of Gears of War 2. On every visit, it seemed, he had to remind the shop owner that he did not have a 360 and had no intention of buying one.
